Immersion: Immerse Yourself in the Moment to Unlock Creative Your Potential

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This experiential learning session will provide hands-on experience with tools and techniques from improvisation that will help you unlock your creative potential to apply to both your personal and professional life. During this workshop, you will connect, collaborate, and build on the creative ideas that come from others.

We'll use the tenets of improv and apply them to the business world and your personal life. You’ll leave this workshop feeling enabled to more effectively (and more enjoyably!?) interact with colleagues, build community, and do better and "funner" work. You’ll also leave with a better understanding of how you can become actively engaged in your day-to-day life. You’ll be equipped with tools that help you add levity to situations while still getting your point across.

This improv workshop will help you unlock your creative potential in order to feel more secure in yourself and your newfound presentation prowess. You will learn how to give snappy presentations and lead engaging meetings. You will exude confidence and not take yourself so seriously. You will develop better relationships with your team (at work or at home) and be able to better communicate your idea/story/pitch.

Key Takeaways
  • Learn the basic tenets of improv and how to apply them to your real life.
  • Actively engage in role-playing that will positively impact your interactions.
  • Have permission to try, the freedom to fail, and the support to feel safe.
NOTE: You must attend your Immersion Course all four mornings of the conference in order to complete this program.
